COLUMBUS, GA
Pastor Don E. German was born in Charleston, South Carolina. Pastor
German received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at the age of 15. At age
21 Pastor German accepted his call into the ministry. He is a graduate of
Clemson University. There he was a disciple and learned how to share
his faith effectively in the Christian group, Campus Crusade for Christ
International. While attending Clemson University, Pastor German was in
the Army ROTC program; he graduated as a Distinguished Military
Graduate and was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Army as a
Signal Officer.

In 1985, Pastor German came off of active duty to attend the School of
Theology Virginia Union, Richmond, VA. While attending seminary, he
was a Chaplain Candidate and served with the Virginia National Guard.
In 1988, he graduated Magna Cum Laude and went back on active duty,
this time as a Chaplain.

From 1992-1995 Chaplain German was assigned at Ft. Polk, LA. It was
there at Folk Polk; Pastor German led the Ft. Polk Gospel Service, as
well as a unit service. At the Gospel Service Pastor met Bishop and
Prophetess Urquhart and they were a part of the ministerial staff at the
service.

After a "shake up" at the Gospel Service, Interdenomination of Faith
Church of the Living God held its first service, Pastor and Co Pastor
German were part of the original membership. Pastor German's next
assignment was in the Republic of Kuwait in support of Operation Iraqi
Freedom. There he was the Pastor of the Camp Arifjan Gospel Service.
Upon retire to the states, Pastor German served as Pastor of the
Sightseeing Road Chapel Gospel Service at Ft. Benning, GA. On January
11, 2009, Pastor German held the first service inaugurating
Interdenomination of Faith Church of the Living God, Columbus, GA.

Pastor German is married to Annell who serves along side him in the
ministry as Co-Pastor of IDF Columbus. They have been married for 28
years. To this union, two children have come, Dana Elizabeth, who
attends McNeese State University Lake Charles, Louisiana and Daniel
Charles, who is a student at Shaw High School, Columbus, GA. They
reside in Columbus, GA.

January 1, 2010, Pastor Don E. German retired from the United States
Army after serving 29 years and 3 months.
